July 2019 White Horse Rosé 2018

Winelala has really been on a New Jersey kick lately after a small tour of some of the wineries in the state’s Outer Coastal Plain region. After finding so much delicious and fantastic wine, New Jersey and otherwise, how can we ever truly pick a favorite?

One way is to simply choose the wine to which you keep returning. For us, that is White Horse Winery’s 2018 Rosé. Winemaker Seferino Cotzojay’s cabernet franc/cabernet sauvignon blend is bright, crisp, and dry, with notes of strawberry, cantaloupe, watermelon, citrus zest, and cucumber. The wine has depth and balance without being overdone or heavy, making it absolutely perfect for summertime.

This wine is available at the winery and at several retailers and restaurants in New Jersey and Delaware. Contact Winelala if you need bottles!

Found by Winelala in a bright, sunny restaurant in Austin, TX, Stefan Pratch’s organic rosé paired well across the board, from the delicate amuse-bouche through to the skirt steak finale. As well, it’s great on its own if you’re just chillin’ on an outside patio in the sunshine! (I know this from experience.)…
